Welcome to Lym yoga. When I started yoga I did it for fitness, flexibility and strength but I soon realised yoga is about so much more. I have been amazed at the healing and coping ability yoga can provide to ease the path through difficult periods in your life.

This led me to want to teach yoga. I qualified as an Associate teacher - Level 1 with Laura Green Yoga (www.lauragreenyoga.co.uk) to obtain the 200 Hour yoga alliance hatha qualification (www.yogaalliance.co.uk) in November 2018.

I see so many people feeling, stressed, pressurised and lacking self - confidence, Yoga can help to relax, to focus on breathing, to take away competitiveness and judgement of others; it allows you to re-centre on the most important person, yourself.

Teaching Yoga part time alongside part time Secondary Science Teaching. I find both combine well and often cross over on the mat and in the classroom. Yoga fills the gaps that Science sometimes has no answers for. I am very lucky to love doing both.

To link my Secondary Science Teaching and Yoga Teaching further I have enrolled on a Teen Yoga Foundation course to give me the skills and qualifications to teach yoga to teenagers including a Level 3 Sports Coaching qualification.
